GIVING TUESDAY - SUPPORT MLR
We know the holiday season can be stressful and a bit overwhelming….between all your family commitments and the million emails with the “best deals ever, ever”, we get it.
This year (and pretty much everyday) Mammoth Lakes Recreation is encouraging you to invest in your community and the outdoor spaces that we all love and call home. By supporting MLR this Giving Tuesday, you help us to provide opportunities for participation in the arts, culture, and outdoor recreation. Your support would also make it possible for us to enhance our current offerings, develop new experiences, and further nurture the landscape through stewardship.
Join us….it’s easy
Below we have laid out three different ways that you can get involved with MLR and help us achieve our vision of transforming Mammoth Lakes into a world-class high altitude training center, a premier mountain arts and culture destination, and the best alpine recreation community in the country.
SPONSOR
Our Eastern Sierra Adopt-A-Trail and Tangle Free Waters programs are a great way for you to directly support your favorite space in the Eastern Sierra. By sponsoring an Adopt-A-Trail or Tangle Free Waters location, you provide the funding needed to preserve, conserve, and steward these special spaces.
Here are some locations that are in need of sponsorship:
Eastern Sierra Adopt-A-Trail
Downtown Mountain Bike Trail
Dragon’s Back Trail
Mammoth Creek Park West (home of the NEW Community Recreation Center)
Minaret Vista
Tangle Free Waters

Lake Mamie
Twin Lakes

VOLUNTEER
Additionally, all of our Adopt-A-Trail and Tangle Free Waters locations have amazing volunteers that help with ongoing stewardship and serve as the eyes and ears for our staff about opportunities to make improvements and address any issues before they become impactful.

MAKE A DONATION
If you aren’t ready to commit to Sponsoring or Volunteering, you can always support the work that MLR does with a direct donation. Our goal for this Giving Tuesday is to get at least five people to sign-up for recurring gifts (daily, weekly, monthly) to MLR. Recurring donations help MLR bridge any funding gaps and ensure that all the programs we and our partners run have the resources they need to be successful.
Share your generosity and support for MLR with your networks, neighbors, friends, and family!
