GRANT OPPORTUNITIES IN MAMMOTH LAKES
Did you know?
Measure U Programming Grant applications open January 8!
What is Measure U and what are Measure U Programming Grants?
The voters of Mammoth Lakes, by a two-thirds majority, supported two special use taxes for the specific purpose of enhancing recreation, trails, parks, mobility and arts & culture. Part of the Measure U tax funds are set aside for grants to support local programming in the priority areas established by MLR for the strategic and effective use of these funds. MLR reviews the applications and makes recommendations to the Town Council for grant awards. This round of funding has $225,000 available.
The Town of Mammoth Lakes also has two other community funding opportunities for local organizations to help grow a youth sports program or host a special event. Make sure to check out their website to learn all about those opportunities and their application timelines.
