EASTERN SIERRA ADOPT-A-TRAIL PROGRAM

As a new calendar year is underway, so are our volunteer opportunities for the Eastern Sierra Adopt A Trail program! We are all excited for the continued growth of this program and the community enthusiasm for outdoor recreation. We had a wonderful 2023 year of stewardship and are ready to make 2024 even better. Check out the stats below and give our volunteers massive kudos for all of their hard work!
Are you ready to be part of the fun?
Signing up is simple. Visit esadoptatrail.org to see the available facilities. Choose your favorite lake, trail, pathway, or trailhead. Fill out the adoption form and then we will contact you with next steps. New for 2024, volunteers are only required to perform 10 hours of work on your facility. Plus, since most of our work takes place when the weather starts to warm and the snow melts, we will be hosting a volunteer orientation in April to get you set up for the Summer work season. Volunteer adoptions run for the calendar year and are first come first served, so sign up now!
We appreciate our volunteers immensely and want to make sure you are recognized! Here’s some of the benefits you will receive:
Recognition name, logo/picture, and link on the MLR website
Shout outs on the MLR social media channels
Recognition sign at or near adopted facility
There are also many trails in need of sponsorship if that is an easier way for you to support our trails!
