Respect and connect with the wonderous Bridgeport facility that is Travertine Hot Springs. Featuring a half mile trail and six natural pools, plus amenities, Travertine Hot Springs is a special place that could use a dedicated volunteer to give it some love and care. The hot springs here are of geological and cultural significance to the Bridgeport Indian Colony and are managed by our friends over at the BLM. Walk the trail, soak in the tubs and enjoy the stellar views of Bridgeport Valley and the sawtooths. Travertine Hot Springs would benefit greatly from a volunteer willing to talk to visitors and encourage respectful use of this area, along with other volunteer duties.
