MLR ANNUAL REPORT (2024/2025)

Mammoth Lakes Recreation’s Annual Report has officially been published and it reflects a year of real progress for our mountain community.

From completing the Sherwin Meadows Trailhead in partnership with the Sierra Nevada Conservancy, Town of Mammoth Lakes, and the Inyo National Forest, to advancing Measure R and Measure U investments with the Town of Mammoth Lakes, MLR continues to champion thoughtful recreation, arts, and stewardship improvements.

Highlights include:

  • New recreation amenities, including the Mammoth Creek Park climbing boulder

  • Expanded support for the Dave and Roma McCoy Arts and Cultural Center

  • Nearly 90% of eligible facilities adopted through stewardship programs

  • Strengthened governance, partnerships, and operational systems

  • This report reflects a community investing in access, culture, and long-term sustainability.

To our volunteers, partners, sponsors, and supporters: thank you for being part of this work. Your commitment ensures that Mammoth Lakes remains a vibrant, sustainable, and inspiring place to live, recreate, and create.

We invite you to read the full report and see the impact firsthand.
