Mammoth Lakes Recreation was awarded a $150,000 grant through the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) American Rescue Plan (ARP) Grant to Local Arts Agencies (LAA) for Subgranting. This award allowed MLR to support local organizations and jobs in the arts sector that were impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Applications were evaluated and scored on artistic merit and artistic excellence. Five local organizations were awarded funds to be used for operation expenses as they recovered from pandemic hardships.
