Originally from Vermont, Brent moved to Mammoth in 2010 with his wife and young daughter to take on the role of General Manager at the Westin Monache Resort. A graduate of the University of Vermont with a degree in Recreation Management, Brent has built a successful career managing resort properties with a focus on health and wellness.

Beyond his professional achievements, Brent is an avid cyclist who is passionate about alpine and Nordic skiing, hiking, and enjoys golfing in his spare time. A dedicated advocate for the Mammoth Lakes community, Brent began serving as a member of the Mammoth Lakes Town Council in December 2024, where he is working to strengthen local engagement and support initiatives that benefit the region. His deep appreciation for what the area offers fuels his commitment to both the community and the nonprofit sector.
