Eastern Sierra Sustainable Recreation Partnership2018-11-13T21:37:45+00:00

The idea for the Eastern Sierra Sustainable Recreation Partnership first came to light on July 18, 2017 at a joint meeting of the Mono County Board of Supervisors and the Mammoth Lakes Town Council. Over the next year, representatives of Mono County, the Town of Mammoth Lakes, the Inyo National Forest, the Humboldt Toiyabe National Forest, the Washington Office of the USFS, and Mammoth Lakes Recreation worked together to draft and sign a partnership agreement and to secure the funding from Mono County and the Town of Mammoth Lakes for a staff position that will live in Mammoth Lakes Recreation.
